621 lbs mount is back!

My wife's uncle shot this boar in Polk county last fall. He got the mount back and I was able to see it Labor day weekend. The bear had a live weight of 621 and a 21 15/16 inch skull. You can see the flap in the noise from a previous encounter with another bear. #2 All time B&C in Polk county I hear...

I believe it was shot in the Balsam Lake, Almena area. The dogs had the bear in the corn field for over 2 hours and it would not come out. He went into the corn after it and ended up putiing 7 rounds into it. Pretty intense shooting something that close he said!

thats what I was thinking i live right next to polk county MN, an havent hear of any beast like that from last year, figured it had to be WI Awsome mount.
