Im with you toughguy! I got the same big buddy and MarCum. I tore all the line off my 13 ice fishing poles just this week. Had to make sure i didnt leave any waxies in my rod bag!

Ripping line off sounds like a good idea to me. I think I might set the otter up in the basement and charge the flashers again this weekend. Bring it!!!!

you can see it comming with the changing colors of the leaves already in central minnesota. hopefully it comes early this year with an average amount of snow. good luck.

Hoping to be on the ice the weekend before thanksgiving or thanksgiving weekend last year. I was on the ice 11/23 last year here in southern minnesota and could of been fishing the day before that but i was busy. Like Reinhard1 said hopefully we will have an average snow fall or even less this year.

ice fishing is my favorite, hands down. my sportsman 500 sure helps me get around to some of the favorite summer spots. probably will make my first trip the weekend after thanksgiving north of duluth for a day. usualy will have 4 to 6 in. on this little lake i go to. good luck.
