Truck bed armor on climbers?

After watching a commercial for the new Summit climbers with the sound deadening, I was wondering if anyone has applied bed liner ie. Line-x, Rhino, Herc., to their stands? I was thinking of coating the lower piece. Any thoughts/observations? Skol.

I've never tried it but it might work. One product I love is called stealth strips, they are basically high-end camo tape with a nice soft finish. They work great for silencing just about anythig. A little spendy but you get what you pay for as they are far better than anything else out there.

It works great. I've tried it on a couple of my stands. One climber and one ladder stand. I just bought a quart of the liner material slapped it on with a brush. Really did help to keep it quiet and the added traction is nice too. I will do it to all my stands from now on.

Been wondering the same thing about putting this stuff on a stand. Any concerns about the smell of the product scaring deer? I put Herculiner in the bed of my truck many years ago, and I remember there being a very strong smell for several months...
