Do you guys notice that the bite picks up during mid day better with the water being so green/dirty in certain lakes.

Last week my son said he noticed the top water as in buzz bzits a lot stronger than the dock bite. throwing buzz bait over submergant veg .Smaller fish were hitting but more of them and the week before I was experimenting with the craw rage tails getting them to work across the top of the same areas and producing fish basically working it like a buzzbait.

I have not been out a ton the past few weeks but when I have been getting out Ive been catching my fish off hard bottom areas. This lake does get really green and makes visibility around 1' and that is when the rock bite really ramps up. Im guessing the weeds die off and the fish concentrate more on these deep spots.

The dock bite which can be really good at times has been practically nonexistant.

The dock bite does get better IMO when the water greens up. I really dont have any rock on this lake wish we did.

I know that I have done well on the hard bottom areas 10-20 feet in front of the docks before the weds start again also.

elwood. ive been doing the same. slow rolling a t-rigged craw over weeds in super shallow water. 1/4 ounce pegged sinker on a 1-0 hook. agree with smaller size but larger numbers.
