Direct TV or Dish Network Need some help???

Recommended Posts

I have Direct TV and others in my neighborhood have Dish Network. Direct TV is a bit more flexible on rates and you can suspend service if you have it in a seasonal place. But>......watch your bill like a hawk. Nuff said!!

We have Directv packaged with broadband and landline phone. It beats dish in customer service and channel line up. If you compare each of them, from least package to higher packages, you will notice that Directv offers more bang for the buck. We get so many more channels than what we would have received if we went with dish. Free equipment for 4 rooms, free hd, the deals are out there. I can also confirm they do negotiate rates at the end of a promotion.

We are looking at moving from Mediacom and going with the Centurly Link bundle of the 7 mb internet, phone and Direct TV. More concerned about going from Cable Internet to DSL. If they can maintain a 7 mb connection fine, but just not sure. Anyone going that route?

I just did a lengthy comparison between DirecTV and Comcast. I got the best deals with DirecTV especially since I argued on the phone with them for over three hours, getting deal after deal and credits. Just be prepared to deal with idiots over the phone no matter WHO you decide to go with...it's like cell phone carriers, they all suck on customer service, but if you want it you have to deal with one of them!
