Nathan ready for Fri????

Down here in (the armpit of America) lovely IA, not much Twins coverage. I do all I can on the net to gather info. Anybody know if Nathan can pitch a inning on Fri night???? He had over 50+ pitches last night.
We need him in a close game, big time.

Hey Mud,
Too early to tell. We might know more after the Twins workout today, but I think it will be very doubtful. If he throws at all, it might be in a situation where he pitches to one or two hitters that he matches up well with.
The problem with the decision is it's always been very hard to tell when Nathan is on "E" because he loses control before velocity, as we saw last night.
Hopefully we can put a high number on the board and we won't need him!

I'll bet that Nathan won't be needed on Friday but he should be ready; pitching in 72 degrees at the Dome is much different than a cool night in the Bronx. If Santana pitches on Saturday in the Dome, Gardy better leave him out there until his arm falls off.

I hate pitch counts, especially in the post season, these guys have been throwing baseballs for most of there lives, he will be ready if we need him, he pitched 2-2/3 innings last night, not a big deal.
