Vikes Training Camp Shots from Friday

I made my 2nd annual trip down to Mankato to watch a day of training camp. Over 2 1/2 hours of drills and scrimmage. The team looked pretty solid, not a lot of mistakes. Our new quarterback Ponder threw a few interceptions, but it was a pretty good time. I got front row this time so it was better for pictures.

There was no tackling at this practice, just initial contact at the line. More of an offensive drill IMO. I dont think they started tackling until Saturday night practice under the lights.
