foulpole18
I have a 18' warrior that has some gas in it I would like to suck out of the tank somehow. Does anyone have any ideas on what might work and anything I have to be concerned about damaging.
Down Deep
Google "gas siphon". There are lots of them available for about 10 to 15 bucks.
Moose-Hunter
If you can access the top of the tank, where tge filler pipe enters, you can eliminate have to navigate a hose past all those twists and turns. And you can clean her out down to the last drop. Just thinking out loud...
minneman
disconnect the fuel line where it comes out of the splashwell then reattach a longer hose of the same diamiter to get to your gas can/s and start the siphon
boatfixer
Or just remove the engine end fitting and use the primer bulb to start the siphon into other containers outside the back of the boat.
foulpole18
Thanks for the replies. I think I'll try Boatfixers idea. That should get most of it out anyway. ThanksBrian
