4 Games to Clinch

9 in a row...the Twins are playing with reckless abandon. Silva and Lohse are pitching the best they have all season. Combined with the emergent play of Santana and Morneau, we're really starting to look like a deep playoff threat.

Bring on the BoSox.

The White Sox are belly aching to the press about Ordonez and Thomas, but we've had key injuries to Mauer, Koskie and even Mays and still pound teams to submission...this Orioles series will be a good yardstick. If Lohse can start stringing quality starts together I think we can take anyone over 7 games.

Will Santana edge out Schilling for the Cy?

Should we start Koskie, a powerful hitter who needs a lot of at-bats to establish his swing? He's supposed to be ready by Monday...should we keep Cuddyer in the regular lineup?

If Koskie's really healthy I think they should play him a game, give him a day off, play a couple in a row, with another off day & see how it goes. Cuddyer's been playing pretty much everyday the last couple week, so a day off here & there shouldn't hurt him much.

Why does Chicago still think they're so much better than that after finishing behind us 4 consecutive years. Once could be luck, maybe even twice, but come on man!

Start Koskie at third, he was and hopefully still will be on a tear, move Cuddyer to second base and keep Rivas on the bench where he belongs.

If Santana doesn't win the Cy Young it's rigged, he leads the A.L. in every stat except wins, and wins depend more on the team than just the pitcher.

Oh, oh....! Things are not good in mudsville! The boys from out east, made our beloved Minnesota Twins look like bush leaguers in the last couple of games!

Are the boys tired? Has their peak come and gone to early? Bad luck? Plain old being out performed by a better team?

When they have won 9 in a row, you expect them to win every one! Oh well, tommarrow is another day...the boys are mortal after all! GO TWINS!!!!!
