Lake side camping?

Looking for a place to camp where I can bring my camper and boat within about 2 hours of the Metro.

Suggestions?

Not sure what all you're looking for, but Canary Beach at Villard has a nice campground just off the lake. Lots of other good fishing lakes in the area also. Reno, Minnewaska, Osakis and the Alex area lakes all within about 20-30 minutes. Just west of Sauk Center about 20 miles.

Kandiyohi County has several great county park campgrounds on lakes like Green and Games. I would highly recommend the latter - Games Lake Park #7 - outside of New London. Gary and Rita who run it are great. Right on the lake and wonderful beach and store/restaurant.

Camper's Paradise on Lake Belle Taine is great! You can pull your boat right up to your site.
