Perchin' in the fall

I am a fall perch-o-holic!!!!!!!!! I love to catch them delicious morsals!!!!!! The first thing is to find a lake that has perch that are nice eater sized and then look to areas that you would find walleyes. Try the edges of rockpiles or rock bars. Jumbos can also be found on mid lake humps that have sand or gravel on them. The one thing is to keep your presentation smaller like crappie minnows, 1/2 dozen spikes on a teardrop, or nighcrawlers work well to. Just stick to a basic panfish presentation in traditional walleye spots and you should get some eaters. I actually just bring my ice fishing rods rigged up for perch and fish them just over the side of the boat. Anchor up too, this has always worked better for staying on top of them instead of drifting around. If I am not catching them I just pull up anchor and troll over to the next spot with my electric trolling motor. I hope this helps ya capture some nice fall JUMBOS!!!!!!!!!!

GOOD FISHIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
