Does anybody specifically target Perch?

Just wondering if anybody here specifically targets Perch. If so, what locations would be good during the summer?

It depends on where you're fishing. I wouldn't target them in the metro because you rarely find them big enough to keep.

If you're talking up north (Mille Lacs, Winnie, etc.)where jumbo perch are more common then you will find them on the same spots you'd find walleye. Look for schools of them on rock piles, off weedlines, or where ever you might look for walleye. I've also caught them mixed in with sunnies and crappies. Perch aren't picky and will hit on a worm or minnow.

Juan, I'm not concerned about size necessarily. I'm catch and release only. I would just love to catch some!
