trappingaddiction
How is the fishing on Kampeska? What species of fish are typically caught? I will most likely be fishing from shore or with hip boots when I am there.
rundrave
here is the netting survey from 2010 from this lake that also includes a lake map:http://gfp.sd.gov/fishing-boating/tacklebox/lake-surveys/northeast-lakes/docs/Lake%20Kampeska%20(2010).pdfI shored fish here last year on a quick day trip while I was in town for something else. Using slip bobbers or floating jigs tipped with leaches worked great on large mouth bass. there are a couple fishing piers and shore spots scattered around the lake. Near the camp ground/park on the North side of the lake had some great shore fishing spots. This lake flooded earlier this year so I have no idea what the water levels are like right now. Your fishing access maybe limited but it could also provide some access to areas not normally fishable on foot.good luck
trappingaddiction
Any updated reports? I would be interested in fishing for anything and everything, but I would really be happy with eyes, white bass. or smallmouth bass but like I said, I am not really picky on what I catch. trappingaddiction
Also, if there is any other area lakes that I could catch fish from shore, I would be interested in hearing info on them.
