harvey lee
Gregg likes the track simply beacuse dumbo won. Gotta troll for a few posts.Glad I did not even bother to watch the race. I would guess I will not bother with the way NASCAR runs things. My choice. From what I read, I did not miss a thing but a boring race. Great job NASCAR.As expected here, the inaugural event at Kentucky Speedway was a dog, with Kyle Busch leading a single-file parade around the 1.5-mile oval for much of the night. At one point, Busch’s advantage over second place was more than eight seconds. He did have to hold off Jimmie Johnson – a rally that emerged only because of a late caution that made for a two-lap sprint to the finish – to collect his third win of the season, but other than that the race was entirely unmemorable. LMITOUT
It sounds like the event was a complete failure on all levels. People were still trying to get to the track 100 laps into the race but traffic was stalled, then they were turned back because there was no parking which caused another jam on the highways leaving the track (with over 100 laps left people were already leaving!!!), bathroom facilities were lacking, and most importantly, the racing was an absolute joke.I don't know how long of a contract NASCAR has with this race track but it should be terminated, effective immediately. harvey lee
I don't know. From what I read, most like the medium tracks and do not care for the plate tracks. The there is the road courses. Most drivers also would take the cookie cutter tracks than the others also so they try to say.
LMITOUT
That race last night may have been the worst I've ever watched.

HOF#13
Agree the race was not the most exciting...just another typical COT race IMO.However, if the front runners could get their cars to run as well as they were, then the rest of the field needs to simply step it up. I hate the #18, but they had their car dialed in and Shrub was dang fast all night long.Need more tracks like Bristol, Martinsville, and Richmond though IMO. SledNeck
That race last night may have been the worst I've ever watched. I can imagine. Toyota finished 1-2. You must have smashed everything in your house.
LMITOUT
Could care less if Santa Claus came in first with the Easter Bunny second, that race track has no place being on the NASCAR Cup schedule.
harvey lee
I have always stated the the #18 is fast so no need to dwell on those false statements. No matter who won, it doers not changed the fact many thought the track was poor.I know, it's all because the 18 won. That one is getting way old fast.
