Anyone own any of these and fished them much? I noticed they have versions with actual legs or just the tails for legs too. Just looking for some friendly reviews. A friend of mine bought some of these, but I have yet to see them in action. Idea is different for sure, but I wouldn't think it works all too well in the really thick slop. Pads probably are fine, but the scummy stuff would flip in on its side wouldn't it? Here's a picture if you aren't familiar with them.

Seems that with the hook in the down position that snagging on weeds would be an issue.

Love the PM Topwater Frog.

My favorite topwater frog lure.

It casts like a bullet, and is not as "snaggy" as you would think.I wouldn't recommend it for the the super thick jungle, but for the light to moderate weeds/pads it's just lovely. Go slow over the pads and you will be fine.

I have only used the model with the legs. It works great, but the pike sure do like to bite off those legs. Still works without 'em, but not as tantalizing.

Try one, I think you will like it.
