Calcutta vs Calcutta TE

Is it woth th extra 140 dollars for the TE? I do not want another reel burning out but cant justify spendig 140 more. Whats your thoughts on both?

I don't own both so I can't comment on how they perform side by side but a month into my first year with a 400 TE and I am thinking of selling a Penn 975, a Toro, and a Cardiff to help pay for a 700 TE. I'm a big fan so far.

If you are into throwing muskie baits, and will do any double 10's, there is no comparison. I've got both, and even with a power handle on the B, the TE outshines it by quite a bit. Course you can get used to getting hit in the head with a 2x4 too, so...

Get the TE. Really really solid reel. tuff to break, unlike so many others!
