Leech Lake resort help!

My wife thinks it would be okay to take a trip up north and is okay with taking the boat along so I need to find a really nice place so she will be happy while I fish and I remember a lodge/resort advertised on one of the fishing shows this winter, I think it was on Leech and I need a name?

Chase on the Lake.

TONS of resorts on Leech. Any preference which part of the lake you're on? Lots of great fishing on the east side, but you're farther from any towns. I live on the west side, which has great multi-species fishing, and is just 8-10 minutes from Walker. And on the south side, you can (depending on your boat) get to a lot of great fishing spots, and are still not far from town.

Chase on the Lake is right IN town, though it's less of a traditional "resort feel."

I seriously book with the Chase on the Lake, hands down one of the nicest hotels/condos to pamper the little lady and fish at the same time. I GAURANTEE that you get more kitchen passes if you get a condo for the weekend. I stayed there last week it was awesome so two thumbs up from a person that's travels allot and been in some really nice hotels..

Call Trappers landing. Tom (Cheffrey) Linderholm is the regional chef for them and the food is good and some real nice condos and some more rustic cabins. You can usually find Cheffrey on the cooking forum or Duluth forum. E-mail me if you need more info.

Acorn Hill is another nice resort. Depending on how long you are planning on staying, I have a voucher for 2 nights free with a 6 night stay that I would like to get rid of. I have no use for it. It's a $590 value.

I'll second Trapper's Landing...gorgeous lake homes, nice marina, bait shop and a great restaurant and bar....
