I amy have asked before, and probably read it before, but since I got skunked today from the little leech thieves I will ask again, HEH!

What are some of your fav. colors from blades to beads to hooks?
Do you do much mixing colors of the beads, or sticj to a solid color, and so on?

Also, I have heard folks say they have started catching more fish after starting to use a longer snell length to 5-6 foot, what do you think the signifi****s of that is compared to a 2-3 footer

HEY, THANKS ALOT!

Dano2 I'd have to say my favorite spinner blade would be a hammered silver colorado blade followed by a chartruse one. I usually tie a two hook harness, then run 2-3 red beads before I follow it with a quickchange clevis and I always end with a little larger red bead. This is just personal preference but I like to keep the colors matching, for instance yellow hooks, yellow beads, yellow spinner same applies with red, orange, white, blue, etc. with the exception of the silver and gold which I feel go with any of them. One thing I like to do in the summer is run a couple beads above my two hooks, lets say yellow, then a yellow and orange float then the clevis and spinner and then again another orange and yellow float keeping the colors matching. When using this rig, I like to run a 8' snell. Otherwise I almost always run a 5-6' snell, depending on the depth I'm fishing.I hope some of this makes sense to you, and will be helpful.
