It's filtering into the Gander stores now.

I picked up some 10 lb this week. So far, I love it.

Due to some very good performance feedback from some Berkley staff members whom I highly trust that used it all last winter, I'm certain I will spool it for fall/winter use this season too.

I'll have some spooled for the 4th if I find it. Excited about the thinner diameter. I think I'll drop from my normal 10# that I use for Fireline and go 8# Nanofil. That's a diameter of .006" from the already thin .008" of Fireline 10. Should really get some depth out of those cranks. .006" is 2 lb mono equivalant. Great Stuff Berkley guys!

Been using 12lb Nanofil on my bait caster and a spinning reel. Braid was becoming my line of choice but I did not like the roughness, problem solved by the Nanofil.

I'm not an expert on the bait caster but this new line was a tremendous improvement for me. Little to no memory like braid but it casts like mono. Casting distance for me increased dramatically.

On the spinning rod the biggest differences are the smoothness and flexibility. The Nanofil is not as limp as braid so it comes off the spool very smoothly and does not whip the rod in front of the reel. With braid I didn't care for the rough feel as the line travels through the eyes especially when bring in a large fish.

Overall I'm very impressed and will be buying more in the lighter weights as soon as I can get back to the store. Have not used it long enough to make a determination on its durability (nick/damage resistance) but have not noticed that it will be worse than other lines yet.
