Ryan_V
So I bought the stuff to set up my bow for bow fishing. The arrow doesn't seem right. The way it is drilled for the slide stop puts the stop on the side of the arrow when it is nocked, not on top like it should be. Am I missing something? I've been borrowing a friends bow, and his is correct..... Please help.

mrklean
what are you worried about the stop hitting a rest or what?
Ryan_V
I thought I had read somewhere that it needs to be on the top or the flight of the arrow well be messed up
mrklean
Ha your shooting an arrow with no vanes a slide and string attached to it about 10-20 feet i don't think the stop on the side will do much unless there is contact with the rest
terrible_fisherman
Doesnt matter how slide sits as long as it doesn't hit anything as mentioned above.
carpshooterdeluxe
If you are shooting a whisker biscuit arrow rest, I suggest aligning all of your nocks/stops the same. then only 1 area of bristles wears out on your insert. Takes a ton of shooting to get wear on those though.
bigg edd
Like carpshooterD said. Re-glue your nock so the stopper sits straight up. You will destroy the black stopper if you are using a roller rest and it hits the stopper. If the black stopper hits the rest who knows where your arrow will end up.
