Grouse brood

Saw a hen Grouse today with 9 little ones. Lets hope for some warm dry weather for the next 10 days or so.

Music to my ears (or eyes, as it were)! I've been seeing a lot of fox and other predators the past few years, too, so hopefully the little ones can make it until fall!

That warm dry weather will also help out the pheasant chicks. The multiple inches of rain in southern and SW Minn sure didn't help.
