deep cranking rod

I have a 6'6" Prodigy PDC665X-1 for my deep cranking rod. What's your opinion on this for deep crankbaits? It seems to be adequate for me, but I am not sure if I should get a softer one or go with glass. I have a slow reel for it already. I want to stay with 6'6" (my preference)and under $100. Suggestions...

Now that I am using a Shimano Crucial for shallow cranks and a St Croix Mojo Bass Glass rod for Deep Cranks I am totally sold on the idea of using glass or glass/graphite in the case of the Crucial for cranks.

Granted the Crucial is 7 foot and the St Croix is 7'8" and both are out of your price range.

If you can find a glass rod for 100 bucks or less I would highly recommend it.

I like longer rods, just a personal preference.

The skeet Reese magnum cranker is pretty good for under 100$. At 7'10 it has some power too.

its going to be slightly more than your price point, but see if you can find a Compre TC4 cranking rod.should be just slightly over $100 bones.. Go with the MH if you find it.

I kinda figured you would recommend one like you did with the the other compre rod you recommened. I'll look into it.

I saw a carrot stix at gm on sale. Opinions??
