rapala dt fat ?

Bought a few of these out of the bargain bins, colors are not great but what the heck. Does anybody notice that they attract larger bass than other crankbaits ? Kind of what I was hoping for but I have not used them yet.

They attract pike, I know that for sure!

The dt3/4/6 fat are great for smallies on the river from shore or boat. Caught my biggest smallie on a dt3 fat in firetiger on the st croix.

The DT Fats are great shallow water cranks.

Big wide wobble.

The 1 foot diving model can be used as a wake bait over weeds and around logs and stumps.

+1 for the northerns. That's all I've been able to catch on them. Seemed strange rest of the cranks do well for other things.

Not to change the subject but do you have good luck wih wake baits? I've had one for a few years and have never caught a fish on one. I know they are supposed to be big bass baits but....

Typically on hot summer days on the river I'll throw some of these with poppers for smallies.
