Lures for Pike? Try tying anything you can find at a tackle store to the end of your line and you'll catch em ha. Good lures... I'd stick with spoons & spinner baits in shallow and then any type of crank bait for deeper areas; these are all simple to use and pike won't turn them down when in feeding mode.

It's pretty much what won't work for these guys. The sub 28" pike are generally hungry and will attack just about anything. I would say 80-90% of the lures I own have caught pike at one time or another. If I had to pick top 5 for catching numbers of pike it would be:

1 Rapala Deep Husky Jerk 12, I like blue/chrome

2 Rapala Shad Raps: balsa, RS, or jointed in sizes 5-9

3 Spinner bait, I like white

4 Salmo hornets, 5 and 6, blue/chrome or hot perch

5 Daredevle spoons in 3/4 or 1 oz (white/red or yellow/red 5 of diamonds)
