Indian Archery Recurve question?

Recommended Posts

Anybody familiar with older Indian Archery bows? I've recently acquired one that's in poor shape looking for some history and model on it. It has a logo and says its from Evensviille, IN, engine searches only send me to the e-store but can't find my style or model, any history buffs on traditional recurves?

Any help would be great?

thx

mr

I had an very early 70's Indian Archery fiberglass (?) recurve bow...light green, molded darker green handle with 3 sight pins, don't remember the draw weight...that's about all I can tell ya. Was a lot of these around.

I believe Escalade Sports is the parent company that bought Indian Industries back in the early 70's. They had Xi at one time, and now own Bear & Trophy Ridge, among others.

Give Escalade a call - I bet they can get you some info!

While you're at it, find out what string length an Xi Ultima has. I need to put a new string on my bowfishing rig! smile
