JIvers
I was fishing the Iowa River in Iowa City late last summer, and landed this little fellow: I've caught a couple American eels like this one on the Mississippi, but this is the first I've caught in an interior river, much less seventy miles from the Mississippi. Mr.Seaguar
You have the biggest wrist and watchband I have ever seen. My sister and friends used to catch them in the Des Moines by Oskaloosa.
reinhard1
cool fish. when i was a kid in germany we ate a lot of eel. when the river flooded we used to look under logs and cought them by hand at times. my dad fished for them behind a dam and when we got home he would nail the head of the eel to a board and make some cuts and peel the skin right off them. they were good, emptied our plates every time. good luck.
