If the lilacs are blooming, the bass are spawning.

The lilacs are blooming... but I didn't see any bass on beds yesterday. Saw one small male cruising the shallows

I was on a couple hundred acre lake this past Sunday and looked for bass on sand, mud, reeds, and lilly pad areas while fishing pannies. I saw 3 small bass and caught 1 10" bass while bluegill fishing. No beds much less any bass (or bluegills/crappies for that matter) on beds. I bet this week of warm sunshine will help though!

  As a recovering machinist, I can appreciate that. If the spec is 0.001 - 0.0015, then clearly the correct measurement is 0.00125, duh…
