kipC
I'm looking for some good advice on what kind of rod and reel to get for Bass and Walleye. Trying to stay under a hundred bucks.
Craigums
7' Medium Rod with a spinning reel would be your best bet in my opinion. As for staying under $100, just go to your local store and look for a combo. Cecil
Your best deal will always be a private label combo. Either from Gander or Cabelas. They typically package rods and reels together for the best value. I would go with a 6-6 to 7' medium action rod and a reel that will hold at least 100 yards of 8 pound test line. Deitz Dittrich
I'm with Cecil on this.. Combo that thing up.. Spend what you can and go from there. If I had to pick one combo, for wallleye and bass, it would be a 7' Medium spinning rod.. Spool it with 8 lb copoly and catch some fish!
