How to remove that Great Foam stuff

Yeah, acetone should work, get the bulk off with a putty knife and wet a rag with some acetone. It won't discolor it, but it may clean off whatever oxidation and dirt is on it to make it look discolored in the sunlight. Should fade back to normal in a year or two with no serious side effects.

A pressure washer may also work if you have one available. Just be careful and not be too agressive with it and damage the siding.

Believe it or not, my dad uses olive oil as his go-to adhesive remover. I have no idea if it will work for your application, or if it will discolor your vinyl siding (but I seriously doubt that it will).

If you want to guinea pig that application, I'd love to hear the results!

Motsenbockers. SP? it's in the paint dept. at HD they have several products. one is

for Urethanes or polyurethane foam. Waterbased product. Soak a rag and let it sit. Does not work as fast as acetone but will not harm any surface..
