SkunkedAgain
The old one is old and shot, the wiring decayed, etc. I want to put up a wireless doorbell but with very unimpressed with the options at my local orange-colored big box hardware store. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions with various wireless doorbell options?

tsande00
I too went to the orange box store and walked away unimpressed. I still don't have a door bell so will keep an eye on this thread.

pureinsanity
I have a wireless dog, and a wireless doorbell. I will check what model it is. The range on the wireless is garbage. The one we got comes with two actual buttons. One you can set up for the front and one you can set up in the back yard for a different chime. Front one works consistently, the back yard one doesn't work every time. I will let you know the make and model. It was a cheap one, so I wasn't expecting much. I typically don't like uninvited guests anyway. So I was fine with no doorbell or the wireless dog doorbell. If I heard the dog barking I can look out a window and determine by car if im going to answer the door or not
