You forgot about Dallas. They would return to the Twin Cities. Since we would now have 2 NHL teams we could initiate contraction and just take the best players out of each for one team and call them the Minnesota North Stars.

Really, you could put Dallas into Duluth. The change would be so subtle, only those living in Duluth would realize anything ever happened! Plus, they'd have more people going!

Does anyone remember going to Star's games back in the mid and late 80's? Every game i can remember was half full/empty and the stars were terrible, even during their cup run, No wonder the team was moved, only a hardcore group of fans was showing up and the team wasnt making money.

I believe the Gunds who owned the team before Green tried to move them before they did, Really cant blame Norm though, No Fans = No Money
