I won't be going out on opener this year as a relative is getting married that weekend and we are headed out of state.

You have 365 days a year and people pick opener to get married on!!!

Same with getting married on deer or duck opener, what the heck!?

I'll be on vermilion.

I am thinking of going to pool 2 and chassing some Bass, not much of a walleye guy. I would think that it may not be as busy as some of the local lakes being that it is open year round. Anyone elese have any thoughts on this, would like to hear.

I hope you won't have to help the newlyweds celebrate their anniversaries. Something similar happened in my family. About 25 years ago the wife's family had a family reunion in Tennessee. They had so much fun they decided to do it every year at the same location and weekend " Memorial Day Weekend"! When I got home from that first reunion I let the wife know the she shouldn't count on me to attend as I already had a reunion to attend that weekend, with my friends in Canada. I haven't been to one Tennessee reunion since.
