I am. This bites. But it beats helping my buddy put a dish up on his new house. And putting in a shower also. I'm leaving at 12:30.

Yeah I don't have a boat to take out either. The wife says I can get one after I buy her a new house. The one we have now is ok by me. I want my skeeter.

I'm at work until 5:00 today. I am going to go out and chase some largies after work today and spend the whole day on the river tommorow lloking for smallies! If I could just work in a nap before 5 I would be content

I'm working in a hospital boiler room until 3pm, and then my real work starts. I run a part-time tree service and so when I leave here, I get to fire up chain saws and other impliments of destruction. Before summer ends, I plan on taking an entire half day off.

I've put in my 2 1/2 hours of work today and it's time for me to get out of here. No fishing for me today though, but I guess I can't complain too much... I've gotten to fish nearly every weekend this summer!

What a drag it is to be us. I'm stuck at work making loads and loads of steam until 7:00 pm today and tomorrow. Sure am wishin I was fishin.

I'm almost done. I get off in about 20MN. It is a bummer when you have to be at work on a day like today, but what do you do? I'll enjoy my afternoon all the more!!

For many years, when the kids were still at home, I worked a swing shift that rotated every two weeks.

I would work seven on and one off, seven on and two off, seven on and 3 off...I missed alot of nice week-ends, both days!

I worked for a grain elevator and oil extraction plant, in different capacities and departments, over the 14 years I was with them.

Power shoveling flax and sunflowers, sometimes soya beans, loading trucks with linseed meal, tank wagons and trucks with different kinds of oils, hand loading box cars with #100 pound sacks of meal, 800 to a car, 8 high, all kinds of stuff. I lost alot of week-ends!

Now these many years later, I'am self employed business owner and have been for the past 12 years, believe me, I have definately made up for those lost fishing days!

When I get the urge, I send the crew out and grab the fishing rods. I was fishing Thur. morning, Fri. morning and evening and again this morning, early.

Do I feel guilty? "N0000oooooo!" I put in my time and still do, only now I have a little more control over it. Hang in there boys, theres better days acommin!
