G-man, I would be interested in playing at Cantebury as well or just as a group. I play twice a year with guys from school but would love to play more. I used to play a ton in high school and college. What kind of stakes are there at Cantebury? I am in Maplewood and would be willing to host as well. Could plan to play outside on the deck or bring the game inside,

g-man..just tell the people running the board that you and your buddy would like to sit together..then when there is an opening at your table, they will call your buddy's name and ask if he wants to move to your table.

Hmmmm, my sat night is open (most likely) and my sunday is pretty much open for a game.

6-12 is the only way to play out there as far as limit games. The 2-4 is a joke..when 6 or 7 players see the flop on every hand...get out of there. Like a previous poster said..flopping trips doesnt do you any good half the time, because somebody is sitting around with 3 to the flush on the flop, and pay out the whole way to the river trying to hit the back door flush. It never fails somebody gets lucky and hits a flush or straight on the river. I thought the odds would play out eventually and people wouldnt always get lucky..but thats not so. Move up the 6-12 if you are a good card player. There is nothing worse than losing to people who you know are worse than you, getting lucky on their stupidity time and time again.

I play on being at Canterbury around 7am Sunday and playing the $120 NL satalite for the Fall Poker Classic at 10:30am.

I also play at Party Poker most evenings as "wallyguy".

I also play on partypoker. Have played others, but always come back to partypoker. I'd be willing to play a home game anytime. I also agree with everyone about the 2-4 game at canterbury....it's just not worth your time!
