KS Gold!

Been hitting the walleye and saugeye pretty good for about the last 5 weeks. Been using jigs tipped with BIG shiners.

5# saugeye and 8# walleye

We been fishing all over! Kanopolis, Wilson, Kirwin, Norton, and Webster have all been good to us so far...............<*))))><

wish I could do that.

I am heading down to Stockton Lake this Friday. First priority is to have my boat dealer do some tweeking on the boat and then plan to be on Stockton by noon.

Do any of you have any tips on Stockton? bass or walleye.

Looks like I should be going to KS instead.

06, I see you posted in the MO forum and Finns replied. Did he help you out any? I would guess Stockton and the KS lakes are two different animals. Let us know how you do, regardless. I am always thinking I am going to get down there pre-Spring one of these years.

Not much to report as far as fish being caught at Stockton this past weekend. We managed to catch three bass all under 17 inches. Everyone we talked to didn't have much luck either at the area we were at. Lots of fish on the screen, just couldn't get them to eat.

On another note: it sure payed off having a contact like finns down there.

I did a really stupid thing. I beached my boat on a pile of rocks in the pitch black dark. Called finns around 10:00 p.m. and he came out and pulled us off the rocks with his boat. If I handn't had his number we would have been stuck there all night.

Few spots of gel coat missing but we really lucked out...it could have been a lot worse.
