Wild Boar in Wisconsin

Well, I won't be making it south for a while to hog hunt, but Wisconsin is right next tore. Any have any info where I can find some? I have heard some reports of the Eu Claire area.

I read the w.i. Dnr site and need a small game lic. But is really doesn't give any info on where to harvest some. Any land owners that want them gone I am definitely game for it.

It's a myth. There are no wild hog populations in WS. There may be an occational one or two that escape from somewhere, but nothing huntable.

Huntable populations are further east and south in the state. True they are not natural but they are huntable and land owners are much obliged. Check forums and info for south central and south eastern part of the state past black river

Not an easy hunt but can be done.

there game farms in wisconsin with hogs, my gfs dad and friends have hunted a one a few times i think its need superior

According to that link it is illegal to have a gamefarm that has hogs.

Down around Lacrosse have a bunch of hogs. My sisters father law has invited me down to hunt them. He has two farms and seeing different hogs on both pieces of land. Just need that small game tag and you are good to go. Planning on going this some time.
