Carlson Turkey Choke Tubes

This will be my second year turkey hunting and I will be hunting with a Browning BPS invector plus chambered in 3 1/2 magnum. I am thinking on ordering a .665 Carlson Extended Turkey choke I can get online for $37. It looks like you can shoot lead, copper or hevishot through this tube.

Anyone have any experience with this choke tube?

Any suggestions what type of shells I might want to try to pattern?

I have never used carlson choke tubes and im not bias about turkey chokes by any means, but My dad and I have been Using the "undertaker" tubes for years in all three of our turkey guns and they have never let us down. Plus they Pattern awesome with the Federal Premium turkey loads (go with a 5 for your shot size no matter what shell you decide on) and the tubes aren't expensive. Gander, Scheels, and Cabela's all carry them. Hope that helps! -Jordan

I've used Carlson chokes on my 20ga with good results. DOn't get caught up in a shot size. I've got two different chokes that I like to use and one of the likes #5's and the other choke likes #6's.

I have a Carlsons no complaints, what I recommend is contacting them directly. about 5 years ago I called them, I think they are in Kansas they told me what shells, size, etc worked best with my gun etc very helpful, check the web for address and phone
