Kubbe

Anyone here ever use the Kubbe attachment on their grinder?I've been making sausage for a long time and have never heard or seen anyone use it.

i have never used one. actualy i did not know what one was. i tried looking it up but did not find a picture of one. a kubbe is meat stuffed with meat and a middle eastern favorite dish. one site had instructions of how to make a kibbe or kubbe. it looks to me you could use your finger as a tool to make this dish. you form a egg shape ball with the reciepie i saw and then she put her index finger in that ball almost to the other end turning the ball while doing so. she then fills that cavity with another mixture and seals it and then deep fries it. i'm guessing the kubbe attachment is some kind of stuffing device. i would guess you could stuff these things with a jerkey gun. i have always stuffed small items as these by hand. they do look tasty. i would think perhapst middle eastern resturants would carry such a tool here. if you make a lot of these i would think it would be a handy item to have but i dont have a need for one. good luck.
