humminbird makes a graph that comes in a vex like bag and has a suction cup ducer you put on the transom. they also make one that has a big clamp and a pole transducer that hangs down. It's hard to describe. Google humminbird and piranhaMAX or fishin' buddy.

I used a 'bird piranhaMax on a remote ontario lake this summer and it was great. It's pretty much just a basic 'bird sonar unit so if you are content with that, you'll be just fine. No worse to carry It does take some monkeying around with the suction cup thing to get the ducer right though.

i have used a fishing buddy before i got my marcum it worked very fine for me have to remember to pull it back into the boat before going hi speed . i do btw have it listed in the for sale section as well if interested. may have to do a search for it. or drop me an email mailto: [email protected]
