Free Photo Editing Software

My wife and I have been using Picasa, but she came across Fotoflexer and loves it. Anyone have any other free software they like using?

It looks like FotoFlexer is the same software that PhotoBucket uses.

I'm looking for a decent option too. I've always used Microsoft Picture It, but recently did a full restore of my laptop and went to reinstall the Picture It and discovered my install disc was broken.

I really like that program I might have to purchase a new one.

I'm not sure if you like Photoshop, but you can get a program very similar to it called GIMP. It's an opensource software, and can be very nice. I used it on a pretty limited basis for a school class, and was very impressed.

Gimp is the free Photoshop clone that I know some rave about. Paint.net was another free app, But I don't know if it currently still is. Both are would be worth looking at.

Paint.net is similar to elements and free, or you can buy older versions of Elements for next to nothing as well..

I downloaded Gimp just to give it a try. Seems very nice but I wish I would have caught the part where it downloaded WeatherBug.

I went to school and know just about as much as there is to know about photoshop. I have also seen gimp, tried using it and it is NOTHING like photoshop. I got lost, could barely do anything.

Darren, I have a copy of photoshop for you can borrow its an older version from when I went to school but ill let you use my copy. I believe its Photoshop CS2
