6 or 7 gal buckets

Does anyone know where I can buy some larger (preferably black) buckets for ice fishing. I need something a bit taller than the standard 5 to hold my gear and my flasher too.

Please let me know where I can find one.

the Frabill sit and fish buckets come to mind right away. they are 6 gallon buckets and are white and black. they are sold almost everywhere ice fishing stuff is sold. check FF if you havent already. they always have them

The best part about these buckets is that they come with a top that fits on very snug and keeps things from falling out.

Anything where I can get just the bucket, I dont need anything else?

I got mine from the local bakery. I got 5 of them for 50 cents each. Just as tall as the one above.

Call a fish store/ aquarium service. I believe, some of the chemicals and salts for treating aquariums come in that larger size. They may give them away. Skol.

Try your local resturant they will give them away just to get rid of them

You can find 6.5 and 7.9 buckets at a brewing supply store like Brew and Grow.

2nd the brewing stores. Midwest is another on the west side of the cities.

You can get a 6.5 gallon for about 12 bucks. Much cheaper than the 6 gallon "fishin bucket" I paid 25 bucks for.

Got a water park nearby? Enhancer comes in that size bucket and they have a screw on lid. Water parks use enhancer, most regular pools don't, thats why I said water park.

I bought a bucket from fleet farm for about three bucks. I shortly found that I would like something with a back on it. I went back to fleet farm later on and found a small little chair for ten bucks. Its a triangle and it has a back. It has a sling so it can go over your shoulder and it works awesome for me. I just toss everything in the bucket, sling the chair over my back and take a walk.

I know this isnt what your looking for, but it is worth a try
