Scott M Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 I believe all brood females are tracked to see how often they show up at spawn take sites (Rebecca and Elk to name a couple), in research nets, etc.. One pass of the wand and their unique identity can be recorded. Very helpful stuff, and given the way state budgets are, every dollar put towards such fish management projects is appreciated.
