Jerky gun

Hi, I wasn't quite sure where to post this one, but does anyone use jerky guns, If so, whats a good one?

It somewhat pertains to ice fishing, since i take jerky with me often when ice fishing and Im sure Im not the only one.

I have a Nesco Jerky works and I like it. I didn't realize there were others at the time both my dehydrator and gun were gifts from my mother in law and she shops the same store I do in the cities which pretty much heavily caries Nesco products.

I do like it though, it's compact so easy to store and it fits 1 pound of ground meat almost exactly with a little wiggle room for more. Since I do my jerky in 1 pound increments anyways this works well. It has 3 end pieces to do wide flat jerky, 2 narrower flat jerky strips, and one that does round jerky sticks. It also comes completely apart to make it extremely easy to clean. That's my experience all be it with the only one I've ever used.

I have two of those and they work great, but I never use them because I don't like the texture, maybe I should just give them away.

I have one called athe jerky gun by LEM. got it a mills fle e t f a r m a couple years back to update the tiny one I had. it works great.
