NICE!!! It's amazing how much snow it out there this year, every other year I have gone in April you usually start following the snow up the mtn. but not this year, the snow banks are bigger than ever!

I see Cooke is holding strong on the snow, I hear a crew is headed out in a week or so and the forecast looks GREAT..... STILL!

The heat is on, one of the guys want's to go in May or June but I'm not sure how that's going to fit, not that I'm not up for it, just too many things going on this time of year to make something like that fit plus a fall hunting trip to Colorado too.

Anyways, sounds like west yellow stone was decent but the snow was somewhat heavy and sticky. He said Togwotee was great riding and was better than it was earlier this year when they went out in Jan. and that trip was some of the better riding he has had. Lot's of powder out there right now. He said the trail signs have been taken down and there is was pretty much no one out riding. I believe he said they were around the 150"+ mark. They did not see much slide activity last week.

Great report!! Early season trips are fun but late season trips in my opinion are better. When you go later in the season you always find un-track snow and you usually have the place to yourself. Did you they buy the sleds from Togwotee Lodge?

AHH Yes..... Go big or go home as they say. Mitch, is this the type of footage we can expect from your Hero Cam next year? laugh Hero snow and a Hero cam make an interesting mix.
