Had a dream last night I was in my boat (that I haven't purchased yet, but will have one in less than a month) fishing... Caught a northern that fought hard enough to pull me in the water.

I swam to shore while reeling the fish in... once on shore I landed it, held it, and had a pic with it, released it, then I woke up.

I think I have a problem.

You do not have a problem.......we just love to fish. I hate putting the boat away, but I think that it will not be long and I will be out as soon as the ice is off.

Dear Spring, please come fast. Winter is being a female dog and dumping her frozen water all over the please with no regard to anyone.

I am counting down the days until Spring! I literally hate winter...not one thing I enjoy about winter. I don't ice fish, I don't snowmobile, I don't ski/snowboard, I hate it! It's cold, the roads suck, and I am already sick of blowing snow off the driveway. The ONLY thing I like about winter is outdoor hockey, but I would much rather be on the river on a sunny summer day.

Wild I am right with you, I will ice fish once or twice and then I always say I will never go again. I think I just need to feel that tug on my line a couple times over the winter to get me through to the spring.
