Benelli M2 butt pad lost

Anybody else have trouble with this? I was out pheasant hunting on Friday in about 10 degree weather and when I got back to the truck I noticed that my butt pad had fallen off. I have never taken it off before and it seemed very tight. Evidently with the cold it shrunk and fell off, now I gotta spend 70 or 80 bucks for a new one. Any idea how to prevent this so I dont have to replace it next time it is cold. Guess I will be using the twin pipe from here on out.

They had a bad run of pads, the problem was the glue. This is a know problem, you did nothing wrong. Contact Benelli and they will cover it under warranty. Last year 3 people I was hunting with had there's fall off also. If they give you problems, go to the dealer that you bought it from.

mine fell off this year too. The gun is about 4 years old or so. Thankfully I found the pad in my truck.

Called Benelli customer service, got a nice gal who apologized for my trouble and a new replacement is on the way!

I used to have one. I read where you should wipe the new buttpad with alcohol before installing. I did that to mine and it worked. I used pure alcohol-isoheet.
