Stalking deer in a snowstorm.. Any tips, tricks, or advice?

Going to head out today and try doing some stalking through the river bottoms and backwater peninsulas of the river..

Have never actually done an active stalking approach before, and wondering if anybody out there has any handy tips, tricks, or advice for doing this?

Looking for ANY types of advice or experiences that anybody has had.. how to move through the woods, what to look for while stalking, the best way to look ahead, certain areas to make sure to check out (cattails, river edges, etc.), how the deer will be positioned, where to aim on the animal, etc.

Just looking to get people's knowledge and experience out smile

Thanks!!

Still hunting deer is a blast! Walk slow. I found it is quieter in the snow if you shuffle your feet as opposed to lifting and stepping. When you stop try to stop by a tree/bush to better hide your silluette. If you spot one and have a shot, don't hesistate. The deer won't wait around for you to pick the perfect shot and also look for more then one deer. I have been busted a few times by deer that I didn't see as I keyed on another.
