I'm probably not searching properly or doing something right....whenever I try an look back any furhter than about a year I get a message saying "This Forum contains no posts within your specified time range??? How do I adjust it to search older posts?

Anybody else have trouble searching previous posts from say 25-50 pages prior?

Select "Advanced Search"

Go to Date Range and wipe out "1" and "weeks".

Select the forum you want to search and fill in a search term...then click submit.

Hopefully I got this reply to you before the powers that be lock/delete this thread.

Asking questions about how the forums work is a no-no for some reason.

O.k, guys, I've attempted the search and advanced search but don't see any options pertaining to weeks, years or any time frames that I can delete or change. Maybe my account is somehow different or been blocked in some manner?

If I click on search, no matter what I type in as a topic, the only results that show up are listed as chronologically being the last current post over the entire forum (list all the latest posts but nothing pertaining to recipes or sharing cooking info?)

If I select advanced search, all that shows up are the forums and at the very bottome a submit selection..............nothing pertaining to date ranges or weeks????????

When you use the Advanced search you will then get a drop down menu on the right that will give you the options of Newer than and that is were you enter a number and to the right of that is a drop down menu with the options:Day(s), Week(s). Month(s), Year(s) and the next thing to fill out is: Older than ,with the same day, week, month, year.
