Hunt for a Trophy

My 10/30 came from Lake Minnetonka. Thought that was big untill I saw the 11, 12, and 14lb walleyes my friend caught from Little Bay de Noc. A guided trip In late November will get you 5 to ten walleye PIGS a night. Trolling with planer boards at night. The guide uses lights on the boards and It's supposed to be the coolest (and coldest) fishing you'll ever do. Three people, One night, 16 walleyes, None under 10lbs. 5 fish mount weighing in at 78lbs.

Whoa. My bad. I added an extra number in there somehow. Good catch. The actual total of the mount was 64. 2-12's, 1-13, A 14 and a 15lb. walleye mount. Big fish came in at 33 1/2 All on one two day (night) trip. I know it was a guided trip out of the Little Bay De Noc area. If you did a little research I'm sure lots of the guides up there could put you on these November eyes. They also threw back a bunch of "smaller" fish.
