DNR Setting back opener

I just heard from my cousin that the DNR is setting back opener for real!!!!

Anyone Know for sure?????????

I just checked the DNR site. Nothing, not that I expected to find anything.

Maybe what your kin meant was that it is a week after Mothers Day this year. Usually opener falls on Mothers Day weekend.

That or he is a procrastinator and is just getting around to his April Fools jokes!!!

Kasaifishmn, Check back 3 or 4 pages to "Ricks" posting on April 1st, He has ALL the details. By any chance? Is your cousin a FM'er or a talk'er? Just to be safe, you might want to delay YOUR opener 2 weeks. Hey, If you believe, really believe, the line at the Access should be one shorter!

Well they did actually...moved it back one week from the typical "Mother's Day" weekend (second weekend in May) to May 15th this year...but that's it...everyone knew that!
